Spot UV

Spot UV is a clear, glossy coating applied to specific areas of a printed piece — a logo, a name, a pattern — while the rest stays matt. It is typically laid over matt lamination, so the treated areas catch the light and lift out of the surface.

It adds tactile and visual contrast without changing the colour of the ink underneath.
