Bleed

Bleed is the part of the artwork that extends past the trim line — normally 1.5 mm on every edge. Because cutting is never perfectly precise, bleed gives the guillotine room so the colour still runs to the edge instead of leaving a thin white sliver.

Keep text and logos inside the safe area (about 3–4 mm inside the trim) so nothing important is trimmed off.
