Virgin pulp

Virgin pulp refers to paper fibres derived directly from raw wood, bark, or other plant materials that have not previously been used in paper production. Because these fibres retain their full length and structural integrity, virgin pulp provides the highest possible tensile strength and tear resistance. In business card printing, virgin virgin paper is often selected for its consistent texture and ability to accept ink and finishing processes without the brittleness associated with recycled content.

While recycled pulp offers environmental benefits, virgin pulp is the standard for applications requiring durability and a pristine white or bright colour base. It allows for precise control over paper weight and surface characteristics, ensuring the final card feels substantial and professional.
